The Fairchance Community Park, with an area of approximately 9.34 acres, is located along Sheldon Avenue in the Borough of Fairchance, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.  The land on which the park is situated was first gifted to the community by the Grimm Family in 1948.  The park was first established in 1948 by the Fairchance Exchange Club, and has since been donated to the Borough for maintenance and upkeep.

Today, Fairchance Community Park continues to serve as an important public space for residents of all ages. The park provides a setting for outdoor recreation, relaxation, and everyday enjoyment, offering a place where families can gather, children can play, and community members can spend time in a safe and welcoming environment. Its central location within the borough makes it easily accessible and reinforces its role as a shared resource for residents.

The Borough of Fairchance remains committed to the responsible care and maintenance of Fairchance Community Park. Through regular upkeep and long-term planning, the borough works to ensure that the park remains a clean, functional, and enjoyable space for both current and future generations. As one of the borough’s long-standing community assets, the park reflects Fairchance’s dedication to preserving public spaces that enhance quality of life and promote community pride.
